Lina Teir - artist, educator, creative mentor
Lina Teir is Finno-Swedish multi-artist, educator and a creative mentor. She is a multi-instrumentalist, a composer and a music producer. Specialised in dramaturgy, audience involvement and the art of oral storytelling she is creating stories, poetry, songs and performance art. She is a playwright and a director specialised in immersive theatre, site-specific art and musical performances.
Lina Teir is the former artistic leader of the storytelling festivals Seaside Stories (FIN) and Fortellerfestivalen (NO). She is also the founder of GLÖD - Centre for Storytelling in Vasa (FIN) and is currently a mentor in the Cassandra-project initiated by (FEST - European Federation of Storytelling), coaching young socially engaged storytellers. She has a background in teaching and researching aesthetic learning processes, drama, music and general creativity as a Senior Lecturer at University of Southeastern Norway (NO).

Creative development and mentoring
Lina Teir has an MA in Pedagogics (Åbo Akademi, FIN) and a BA in Drama and Theatre Communication (Oslo Met, NO) and is actively combining her multifaceted artistic expression and her teaching competencies to create innovative projects where music and storytelling meet social and relational arts. She is an award-winning lecturer creating meaningful aesthetic learning experiences for various audiences. She is a creative mentor for aspiring and established artists aswell as a creative consultant for organisations and art institutions wanting to develop innovative artistic and pedagogical concepts.
