Lina Teir is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and performance artist known for blending music, storytelling, relational arts and audience involvement into powerful, emotionally engaging experiences.

Specialising in dramaturgy, audience involvement, and oral storytelling, Lina creates poetic and thought-provoking works that explore themes like identity, belonging, and cultural complexity. As a director and playwright, she crafts site-specific, participatory, and immersive performances, inviting the audience into the story's heart.

She is the founder of GLÖD—Centre for Storytelling in Vasa (FIN), the former artistic director of the festivals Seaside Stories (FIN) and Fortellerfestivalen (NO), and a mentor in the Cassandra Project (FEST Europe), which guides young socially engaged storytellers across Europe.

With a Senior Lecturer in drama, music, and creative learning background, Lina bridges art and education with a strong sense of purpose and artistic integrity. Her unique combination of musical craft and narrative depth makes her a standout voice in contemporary performance.

Lina Teir är en mångkonstnär och konstnärlig ledare som kombinerar musik,  scenkonst, muntlig berättarkonst och relationer konst i nyskapande projekt i olika format. Hon har varit konstnärlig ledare för storytellingfestivalerna Seaside Stories (FIN) och Fortellerfestivalen (NO) , och är grundare av GLÖD – Österbottens berättarcentrum i Vasa, Finland. Hon skriver, regisserar och framträder, ofta i platsspecifika och publikinvolverande föreställningar.

Som mentor hjälper Lina Teir unga artister och kreativa i Europa t.ex. i Cassandra-projektet (FEST). Med sin unika kombination av gränsöverskridande konstnärsskap, kreativ pedagogik och facilitering engagerar hon publiken och skapar rum där både personliga och kollektiva berättelser får komma till uttryck.
