
Lina Teir is a Finno-Swedish multi-artist, educator and a creative mentor. She is a multi-instrumentalist, a composer and a performing artist. Specialised in dramaturgy, audience involvement and the art of oral storytelling she is creating stories, poetry, songs and performance art. She is a playwright and a director specialised in immersive theatre, site-specific art and musical performances.
Lina Teir is the former artistic leader of the storytelling festivals Seaside Stories (FIN) and Fortellerfestivalen (NO). She is also the founder of GLÖD - Centre for Storytelling in Vasa (FIN) and is currently a mentor in the Cassandra-project initiated by (FEST - European Federation of Storytelling), coaching young socially engaged storytellers. She has a background in teaching and researching aesthetic learning processes, drama, music and general creativity as a Senior Lecturer at University of Southeastern Norway (NO).
